Smell: Rain forecast woods
Cold Draw: Sweet dry apricot
First Impression: Firm Draw. Dry and sweet. Almond chocolate finish. Retro-Hale salt and pepper ribeye steak. Extremely interesting.
1/3: Very sweet caramel and ice sugar along with hay and oak. Dry and powdered vanilla almond milk finish. Retro-Hale very smooth and strong sweet almond milk.
2/3: Sweet lime, salt and pepper. Refreshing sour and sweetness. Finish like beer and lime. Retro-Hale lime soda.
3/3: Tinkling and sweet, like drinking the soft drink, especially like Sprite and 7up. Sweet lime finish. Retro-Hale sweet almond, lime, and oak.
Overall: An interesting taste cigar in a very good way. Solid construction, good burn, OK ash. Tight draw with average smoke output. Mild medium body and mild strength. I enjoyed it a lot. I rate this 5.0/5.0.
From a post a few months ago, but what I said then, still stands…….
Privada Cigar Club, is just awesome.
What drew me in, was the rare, and or aged sticks.
I love the fact that IM getting those type sticks, especially the aged ones.
Something about the fact that, that certain stick was made, and aged,
and the history behind it, and at last,
that piece of Cigar history is setting in My humidor,
waiting on me, and not me waiting on it.
It’s just a first kind of cool! It’s all about the experience.
The founder, Brian Desind, is a character on his own.
He pays attention to members, and is a dude I would be proud to sit down with over a nice Cigar,
he’s that cool. For me, this is THE cigar club, and I hope to stay in for a long time to come.
OH, and for the sticks, so far very good. Shipped nice with a boveda pack.
What else could you ask for.

Smell: Spicy sweet raisin
Cold Draw: Oolong tea
First Impression: Very Strong cayenne pepper. Dry and sharp smoke. Little sweet finish. Retro-Hale Extremely pungent pepper and salt.
The Chinese character on the top and back label is Huang, means yellow, it’s also using for a common Chinese last name. One on the side next to P is Two. The one next to R is Eight.
1/3: much much smoother now. Tree barks. Oak. and wooden sweetness. Somewhat oily finish. Retro-Hale pungent herb and tea.
2/3: Spiciness and pungent are gone. Natural no sugar added oolong tea sweetness. Creamy sweet finish. Retro-Hale roasted nuts.
3/3: Sweet creamy and smooth. Fresh wood, nutmeg, oolong tea, and hint of leather. Woody sweet finish. Retro-Hale fresh oak and floral.
Overall: Excellent cigar. A lot of magical transitions. Razor sharp burn. Ash holds 1 inch. Solid construction. Medium body medium strength. I really enjoyed this cigar. I rate this 5.0/5.0.
