Nick Offerman is a huge Lagavulin fan and has a ton of video’s on their products and little tid bits here and there, I wanted to share this one for all the Lagavulin fans out there! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
Most of us, if not all, are pretty regular cigar smokers, but do you know how and when cigars came to be? I found this awesome article and a pair of great videos that talk about cigars and their origin story. The article is not a very long read, and I highly recommend you check it out, or even skim over it and pick out what you deem important. It’s jam-packed with info and is a great read, especially while smoking a nice stick on the back porch!
Check out the video below if you aren’t much of a reader, but don’t forget to check out part 2 of the video if you decide this route is for you!

It has recently come to my attention that women have had a large role in the establishment of whiskey today. From example, before Johnnie Walker became what it is today, a Woman ran its most important distillery, Cardow, which was also the smallest distillery in Scotland with just two employees! This article is packed with loads of history that date back to the early 1800’s! If you are a whiskey lover, such as myself, I suggest you delve into the history of some major whiskey names!
